Tim joined the financial industry with Principal® in 1989. After gaining a couple years of experience, he returned to the long-term care health field as an administrator. Due to his father’s disability, he returned to the financial industry to help him successfully exit his business and has been with Principal® Financial Network since 1997. Tim is a member and past president of the Sioux Falls Estate Planning Council and Midtown Sertoma, national committee person and past president of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) of South Dakota, past co-chair and current member of the Bishops Hunt Committee, Gift of Hope, and a member of the Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce. He volunteers in many capacities through Church of Saint Mary Immaculate Heart, he is a Top of the Table Million Dollar Round Table member, and a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus.
Tim graduated from Augustana University of South Dakota with a B.A. in Hospital & Health Care Administration and earned industry designations from the American College as a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) and a Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF®) certification. The National Association of Estate Planners & Councils conferred him with his Accredited Estate Planner (AEP®) designation.
Round Table (MDRT) - (2025) annual membership demonstrates qualifying production and meeting minimum production levels and pay annual dues. Qualification should not be perceived as a recommendation or an endorsement of services.
